Description

This book deals with the numerical study of the flow of the mineral slurry through pipe bends. Pipe bends are very essential elements of the pipeline transportation systems. At present, various mineral slurries are also transported using the pipeline transportation. wear due to abrasive and erosive effects of the slurry flowing through it. Considering this aspect, in the present book the computational analysis of the slurry flow through the pipe bend have been analyzed so as to determine the possible severity of the wear of the pipe bends. Computational procedural guidelines has been tried to make available through this book, by the authors.
