Excerpt from Principi di Scienza Nuova di Giambattista Vico d'Intorno Alla Comune Natura Delle Nazioni Colla Vita dell'Autore Scritta da Lui Medesimo, Vol. 1
La prima edizione di quest' opera fu fatta nel 1725, la seconda nel 1732; la terza nel 1744 in Napoli; indi la Società tipografica dei Classici italiani ne fece in Milano altra edizione nel 1801 una quinta ristampa fu fatta pu re in Napoli nel 1811. La presente edi zione però è tratta da quella del 1744, come la più stimata dai Dotti: e Vi si aggiunge la Vita dell' Autore, melia quale egli stesso ragiona amphuuente di -ne sta non meno che delle altre sue opere.
