A comprehensive methodology for evaluation of anti-arthritic activity will provide the methodology to validate and substantiate the traditional use of the plant in the treatment of arthritis. The methodology does not only help in evaluating the anti-arthritic activity of Ficus glomerata latex but also gives concurrent information on its possible mechanism of action. The researcher can use this methodology will be helpful for evaluating the synthetic/semisynthetic compound and find out the anti-arthritic effect.
