Forse potrebbe nascere il dubbio se, tra gli svariati suoni della pronunzia, non occorresse averne uno eziandio per rappresentare quello della g francese, che manca all' italiano; ma ad ottenerlo gioverebbe per avventura il richiamare in vigore la a: del dialetto veneto, genovese ecc., la quale cosi di frequente vedesi introdotta, coll' identico suono nei Portolani del medio evo.
