Excerpt from Contributo Allo Studio dei Terricoli Neotropicali: Memoria
Il materiale studiato nel pr'esente lavoro proviene in massima parte dalle estese ricerche fatte nella Repubblica Argentina e nel Paraguay dal dottor Alfredo Borelli. Altro materiale, pure interessantissim'o, mi fu gentilmente comunicato dal K. K. Natur historischer Hofmuseum di Vienna e questo era stato raccolto dal dottor Paul Jordan S. Bernardino (paraguay). Infine dal Museo di Storia Naturale di Madrid mi furono pure cortesemente comunicate due specie (entrambe nuove) di Anteas raccolte sul fiume Napo dalla spedizione spagnuola al Pacifico del 1860.
