Dem verfasser wird es jeder kundige leicht zugeben, dass die bildung der nomina als ein bisher noch wenig und nur sporadisch bebautes feld der indogermanischen sprachwissen schaft in ganz besonderem masse der umfassenden und ein dringenden specialuntcrsuchnngen bedürftig ist. Herrscht ja doch auf disem gebiete selbst über die elementarsten fragen noch fast überall grosse unsicherheit und differenz der mei nungen und ist es ja wo] kaum zu leugnen, dass gerade hier durch verfrühte urteile, willkürliche hypothesen u. Dgl. Man ches, wie man zu sagen p¿egt, verfaren ist.
