I miei dubbi si sono fatti maggiori quando il Barone von Erlanger ha pubblicato sotto il nome di G. Riippellz', due figure (journ. F. Orn. 1904, Tai. II) una delle quali rappresenta un esemplare vecchissimo, del paese dei Galla, e l'altra uno meno vecchio, ma pure adulto, della Somalia. Ambedue quelle figure sono molto diverse da quella del Cretzschmar.
