Swiss photographer Samuel Zeller reveals the quietness and serenity found in some of Europe's greenest, manmade corners. Starting his project in Geneva's botanical gardens, Zeller shoots plants through translucent glass, exploring how the shapes and refractions create a blurred beauty reminiscent of impressionist paintings. Using the same technique across Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and beyond, the photographer draws on classical botanical illustrations from the 19th century to illustrate nature in a contemporary and unusual way.
