Excerpt from The Revised Reports, 1833-1835, Vol. 39: Being a Republication of Such Cases in the English Courts of Common Law and Equity, From the Year 1785, as Are Still of Practical Utility; 3 Clark and Finnelly, 8 and 9 Bligh (N. S.), 2 Mylne and Keen, 5 Barnewall and Adolphus, 2 Nevile and Manning
The Revised Reports are now on the ground covered by the Law Journal, a series of reports which deals with all the superior Courts, except that House of Lords cases are not included in the earlier volumes now under consideration. It is found, however, that, even putting House of Lords cases aside, as many as about one-third of the cases repro duced in this volume, in round numbers fifty out of a hundred and fifty, are not in the Law Journal reports. On the whole, therefore, the Revised Reports may claim to contain not only more but many more cases of present utility within a given period than can be had in any other form short of possessing the whole mass of concurrent publications, authorized and otherwise.
