La méthode de Cramer paraît, au premier abord, plus simple et plus exacte; mais elle est restée peu connue et s'est peu répandue, probablement parce que la construction de l'appareil a paru compliquée et imparfaite, et que Cramer est mort avant d'avoir pu vulgariser son procédé et l'etu dier suffisamment pour y apporter les modifications qu'il réclamait.
