Direct seeded rice (DSR) have lot of potential to save natural resources (ground water, soil health and climate), but without solving the problem of weeds we cant explores its benefit. Farmers always hesitate to adopt DSR technology because wide range of yield loss due to heavy impedance of weeds. Now a days very promising herbicides available in market which can easily control weeds below economic threshold level by single time application.In this book given about the about herbicides performance effect on growth parameters and their economics in Dry DSR.

About the author

I am working as scientist since 2013 in ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram, Meerut, (UP), India. My area of specialization is Integrated Farming System (IFS), Weed Science and Direct Seeded Rice. I did my graduation from JAU, Junagadh, Gujarat, Post graduation from GBPUAT, Pantnagar, (UK) and at present pursuing my Ph D (inservice) from CCSHAU, Hisar, Haryana.
