Large scale land acquisition has brought a lot of conflicts between the investor and the local communitysince most of the local community members perceive the investor as a land grabber who denies them access to resources. The most affected by loss of land are women who are the major user of land. This loss of natural resources has brought conflict between the investor and the local community.

About the author










The author completed her first degree in 2009. Also she was employed as a secondary school teacher in the same year. Later, the author was enrolled for her masters degree which she completed in 2016 and graduated as best student in her specialty. She is currently teaching at MUMBWA Secondary School in Central Province of Zambia.
