Nach @ebuhr gefchuht hat, unb in bem 3ahre, in welchem eß erfchien 1817 in befon= berß trüber ©timmung mar, bie burch bie mangelnbe 2lners fennung feiner ßdftungen in Beutfchlanb noch berbittert tunrbe. Ähnliche @puren finben fich mehrfach in feinem Briefmechfel. Biefer ©rnnb mußte einen B3ieberabbrucf mancher, ieht faft bergeffener Äußerungen noch mehr geboten erfcheinen laffen.
