The many valuable Presents include the Works of the late John Gould, viz. The Birds and Mammals of Australia, the Birds of Europe, Great Britain, Asia, and New Guinea, the Humming Birds, and the Partridges of America. The greater part of these books was given to the Royal Institution by Jacob Bell, Esq., in 1859, shortly before his decease.
