Nous avons dit que parmi les troubles de la mimique émotive, les uns se présentent comme de véritables troubles d'adaptation et paraissent avoir leur origine dans une perturbation des associa tions idée-affectives, tandis que les autres nous apparaissent comme des troubles de fonctionnement, et reconnaissent pour cause une altération de l'appareil spécialement affecté à l'organisation de l'expression émotive (thalamus et ses dépendances).
