Para dar noticia de los autores que florecieron en tiempo del P. Aquaviva, excusado es advertir que hemos procurado consultar las primeras ediciones de sus obras; pero confesamos ingenuamente que en algunos casos no hemos podido satisfacer a este deseo, por haberse hecho rarísimos los ejemplares de aquellas ediciones, y así nos hemos debido contentar con leer ediciones posteriores.
