En portant le doigt profondément dans le vagin, tous les signes fournis par le col et le segment inférieur étaient d'accord avec le développement de l'utérus pour accuser une grossesse de trois à quatre mois. Les signes fonctionnels existaient tous, absence de règles, nausées, mamelles. La conclusion était donc, grossesse a peu prés certaine.
