Dicht entlang an der Küste, vorbei am berata-kap einerseits und Mioko anderseits, gelangten wir in den zwischen neu-mecklenburg und neu-pommern befindlichen Sanct georgs-kanal. Weiter und weiter ging es nach Süden, mehr und mehr entschwand das Land im Hintergrunde, und nur schwach konnten wir gegen Abend Mioko, von wo uns am Nachmittage für lange Zeit zum letzten Male die deutsche Flagge gegrüsst hatte, erkennen.
