Faesch ou fesch (remi), jurisconsulte et antiquaire suisse, né à Bâle, en 1595, mort le 1 mars 1667. Il étudia le droit à Genève, Lyon, Bourges et °marbourg, et visita la France, l'alle magne et l'italie. Il montra un goût prononcé pour la numismatique et les antiquités. _se col lection et sa bibliothèque, léguées par un fidéi l'ommis à l'académie de Bâle, et connues sous la dénomination de cabinet Faesch excitent encore aujourd'hui la curiosité des voyageurs.
