Awareness of Youth Centers Existence and their Reproductive Health Service - Assessing their role among youth of Addis Ababa

There are 1.7 billion young people aged 10 to 24 years living all over the world, representing one-quarter of the population, and with over 85% of them living in developing countries. They have limited reproductive health information, knowledge, and access to health services provided in youth centers and other places. Youth centers need to be accessible, acceptable and appropriate for the young people to effectively attract them, to their needs and retain them for continued care so that reproductive health problem and its consequence prevented. About the author

Azeb Woubishet Workneh,Msc studied public health with specialty track of reproductive health at Addis Ababa University. She is working now as a teacher at Ethiopian police university college health institute. She has experience in being the clinical and public health officer and teacher. She is advisor and instructor for students.
