Excerpt from Poésies Populaires de la Gascogne, Vol. 3: Chansons de Danse
Comme son nom l'indique, le rondeau se ment en cercle, tantôt au son des instruments, tantôt à la voix des danseurs, chantant toujours à l'unisson. A ce propos, j'ai hâte d'ajouter que l'unisson est de règle dans les poésies chantées, sauf un très - petit nombre de pieces d'origine récente, et visiblement empreintes de l'in¿uence des Orphéons.
