About the author

Mihaela Marchis Moreno is a linguist and writer whose main research focusses on comparative syntax, morpho-syntax and semantics-syntax interfaces.

Summary

This pioneering work on relational adjectives challenges the traditional morphological theories on word formation. It argues that hybrid categories such as relational adjectives, which are both nouns and adjectives, can only be properly understood if they are produced as interfaces and computed simultaneously in different modules of grammar.
