Graham Scambler is Emeritus Professor of Sociology at University College London, UK, and Visiting Professor of Sociology at Surrey University, UK. He is the author and editor of many books and journal articles on social theory and the sociology of health and healthcare. He is a founding co-editor of the international journal Social Theory and Health. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, UK.
