A number of studies have documented the difficulties that exist in accessing quality healthcare services. However, only a few studies have actually documented the relationships between the ease of access to healthcare services and the provision of quality healthcare services with regard to male midwives. This is despite the fact that improving maternal health outcomes by reducing barriers to accessing maternal health services is a key goal for developing countries. This research study is expected to increase access to quality of healthcare services provided to the female patients in remote-rural hard to reach areas of Zambia. Objective: To analyze the relationships between Female Patients acceptance of Male Midwives and the quality of healthcare services offered by male midwives.
