About the author

Ellisiv Stifoss-Hanssen is a Norwegian author, from Trondheim. Let Me Sleep Until It Is Just a Dream, is her debut novel, and is based on her own experience with cervical cancer. It garnered widespread praise in her native Norway.Born and raised in Norway, May-Brit Akerholt now lives in Australia, where she is a recipient of a Fellowship from the Theatre Board of Australia Council. She has lectured on theater at NIDA, worked as a Dramaturg and Literary Manager at Sydney Theatre Company, and has translated numerous plays. She is also the author of Patrick White.
