This book examines the effect of community interference on pipeline right-of-way which has constituted a major environmental problem in the country. Maps, pictures and existing literature proved useful methodology guide to aid this study. Recent literatures have placed this issue on an expository pedestal, seeking to remedy this non-relenting situation. Interference with of the pipelines has contributed to the rise in the activity of vandals in the host communities where these pipelines pass through. Moreover, owing to the defectiveness on the path of the security agencies, these host communities have become more and more susceptible to the activities of various vandal groups that have sprung up. Nevertheless, in a bid to solving this communal menace, it is recommended that security should be intensified especially along the pipeline right-of-way and also within the community.
