Present investigation entitled "A Study on Plant Growth Promoting mechanisms of strains of Rhizobium isolated from lentil (Lens culinaris L.)" was undertaken to isolate and characterize the performance of Rhizobium strains isolated from lentil collected from Varanasi and Mirzapur district. Under laboratory conditions isolates were studied and evaluated for traits conferring plant growth and development. The isolated strains were screened for their ability to produce IAA under different conditions, Phosphorous solubilization activities and their tolerance to different stresses like pH, salt and antibiotic.

My self Ajay Kumar Varun work as lab technician in Gujarat, india. I am currently working on Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and fungus. I am completed our Master degree in Banaras Hindu University and my M. Sc. dissertation on plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. I completed our bachelor degree from St. Andrew¿s College, Gorakhpur.
