The purpose of this book is to provide an analysis of the Japanese car manufacturers and their penetration in the North American and European Markets. In order to provide such an analysis, this work has been divided into three major chapters including: Economic Status and Market Conditions of North America and Europe; The Performance of Japanese Car Manufacturers in North America and Europe; and Analysis of the Japanese Car Manufacturers Strategies. In order to thoroughly assess the performance of Japanese car manufacturers, methods like market data analysis of these markets, focusing on their market shares, their production levels and their overall sales figures were examined. Moreover, as a result of these methods of analysis, it was found out that the Japanese car manufacturers are far more successful in North American market compared to the European market due to various reasons. This book has tried to achieve to close the gap in the literature about this topic since there are not sufficient up to date resources available on this topic.
