The influence of extreme phenomena on the natural enviroment and human living conditions

As part of project entitled Extreme meteorological and hydrological events in Poland, research has been undertaken in order to define the influence of extreme phenomena on the natural enviroment and human living conditions. It was carried out as "Theme six" of the project by a number of teams from universities and university research centers in Poland.
The main aim was to find answers to questions on whether the natural extreme phenomena observed in recent years in Poland have affected the living conditions of its inhabitants and what economic consequences that followed were.
