About the author

Laura Langford Smith is a stay-at-home mom with a background of studies in English, children’s literature, journalism, and creative writing. Laura has been serving in church children’s ministry for 11 years, with four of those years volunteering as the children’s ministry director/teacher for a young international church plant. She’s been married to her husband, Geoff, for nearly 17 years and they have a daughter and son, ages 14 and 6. She resides in Nashville, Tennessee.Olivia is a self-taught artist. Olivia has loved painting and sketching from a very young age; winning her first art competition at the age of 4. She graduated from Cor Deo Christian Academy in 2016, where her father is the principal. The oldest of 4 children, Olivia lives on a farm in Hillsboro, Oregon and enjoys long country walks, reading classic literature, and drinking Kombucha. She attends Sellwood Baptist Church with her loving family of 6.
