Alice becomes fixated on a writer whose life has parallels with her own. As fact and fiction begin to blur, the relationship between the women exposes lies and sexual encounters. Three families collide as Alice learns that the swiftest answer to the question where do we come from? can be found online. This first great Instagram novel is an astute take on efforts to connect in the digital age.
