This book deals about the factors affecting Rural Youth Engagement in Agricultural Activities in Doyogena Woreda of Kembata- Tembaro Zone, Southern Nations, Nationalities and People's Regional State of Ethiopia. It was delimited to focus the socio-economic, demographic, attitudinal, and institutional and infrastructural factors in the study area. A stratified random sampling technique was used to identify the sample size (249) by using Yamane formula to collect quantitative data in the study area. Qualitative data were also collected through focus group discussion (three groups one from rural in-school and two from out-schools youth from kebeles) and Key Informant Interviews ( Seven participants). Data analysis involved the use of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics such as chi-square and binary logistic regression models. The results revealed that although youth have innovation, dynamism, energetic, productive potential and desirable qualities that can transform and modern agriculture sector, most of the youth are disengaged in agricultural activities in the study area.
