Informationen zum Autor William N. Kelly has 50 years of experience in healthcare as a pharmacy executive, researcher, professor, and clinician. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 12 book chapters, and has presented his work both nationally and internationally. He is also a full professor, and special assistant to the Dean for innovative practice at the College of Pharmacy of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Kelly is also president of William N. Kelly Consulting & Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to advancing medication safety and the practice of pharmacy, senior vice president of scientific affairs for Visante, and vice president of Vivace Health Solutions. Dr. Kelly is the author of The Good Pharmacist: Characteristics, Virtues, and Habits , published in 2011; Prescribed Medication and the Public Health: Laying the Foundation for Risk Reduction , published in 2006; and, co-author of Leadership and Management in Pharmacy Practice (2nd ed.), published in 2015. He lives with his wife, Trudy, in Clearwater, Florida, and enjoys reading, swimming, golf, spending time with his children and grandchildren, stamp collecting, and serving as a medical missionary in Central America.
