Over the years, numerous evaluations in the higher education sub-sector in Uganda have been carried out, their results, and recommendations, however, often times end on paper. This non-utilisation trend has thus far, been tagged to design of the institutions in which these evaluations are carried out. This book examines the relationship between institutional design through its dimensions; procedural rules, evaluation processes, and institutional capacity and utilization of evaluation results in Uganda`s public universities taking Kyambogo University as a case study. A cross sectional survey is done involving a sample of 118 respondents whose views were obtained through the use of questionnaires and by conducting key informant interviews. These were supported by documentary analysis. This book should be of value to all evaluation stakeholders; the commissioners and managers of evaluations, so that they all aim at the implementation of the emerging results and recommendations from the evaluation studies.
