Rafiq Elmansy is a professor of design at the American University in Cairo, author, design consultant, and design thinker. He is the founder of Designorate (www.designate.com), an open-access platform to teach and provide consultations about design thinking, interaction design, user experience design, and innovation management.His experience includes more than 17 years in the design industry and has worked with clients from different countries including includes Adobe Systems, United Nation, World Bank, ZenDesk, Insala, and others.His books have been published by John Wiley, Taylor and Francis, and O'Reilly Media. His recent books are available on Amazon (http: //bit.ly/RafiqElmansy). His articles appear on Adobe Inspire Magazine, Smashing Magazine, and Design Management Review, and his website Designorate.His design work is exhibited in many countries including South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Croatia, and Brazil. He is a jury member in design competitions including the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, A'Design Awards and Poster for Tomorrow.Rafiq is an Adobe Certified Instructor and Adobe Education Leader and works with Adobe to develop their applications. Currently, he is writing Adobe certification exams in calibration with Certiport.
