About the author










Robert Owen Decker, a transplanted Hoosier who grew up in Indiana, came to Connecticut in 1959. He received his Ph.D. in American History, specialzing in colonial and maritime history of Connecticut, from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Decker lives in Rocky Hill.
