About the author










Antonello Trecca was born in Foggia, 1st of June 1965. Degree in Medicine at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1989. Residency in Digestive Endoscopy at the same University in 1994. Residency in General Surgery at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1999. Phisical Doctor in Experimental Surgery at L Aquila University in 2005. Chief of the Operative Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Units of the Health International Unit of Rome from 1999. National Secretary of the Society of Young Surgeons from 1999 to 2003. He teaches Human Anatomy and General Surgery at the University of Nursery Sciences of La Sapienza University of Pomezia, Rome from 2006 to 2008. Dr Trecca published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals. With Springer Milan he published recently: Ileoscopy, Technique, Diagnosis, and Clinical Applications, Trecca, Antonello (Ed.), (printed december 2011), 2012, XVII, 104 p. 63 illus., 54 in color, 978-88-470-2344-4, HC, EUR 99,95.
