About the author

David L. Taylor is a former assistant principal at Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Indiana. In addition to being a school administrator, Mr. Taylor is certified as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker and has more than 30 years’ experience in manufacturing, technical training, and training management. He holds a Master of Science degree in adult education from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in vocational–technical education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Mr. Taylor has taught machine trades and blueprint reading courses at the Erie #1 Board of Cooperative Education Center (BOCES), Howard G. Sackett BOCES Vocational Center, and Jamestown Community College, in New York State.
