Joanne's poetry is autobiographical, with poetic license taken in some instances with dates, sequence of events, and some names have been changed to protect privacy.

About the author










Joanne Mellin lives in Vermont with her cat Duncan. She belongs to two women's poetry critiquing groups, loves hiking and the Red Sox , and works as a caregiver. She is a member of the Poetry Society of Vermont. Her work has been published in "The Mountain Troubadour," "Hullaballoo--The Final Issue," "Subterranean Quarterly (on-line)," "Burlington Poetry Slamthology Volumes 1 & 3," "Vermont Times, " "Seven Days," and "The Burlington Poetry Journal, volumes I & II."
