Diabetes has been common, but often, a disregarded health condition. It can be fatal or sometimes, physically, emotionally, and psychologically debilitating. This study is about the health practices of a certain group of career people in a rural work site of the southern part of the Philippines, who are considered to be diabetes-risk individuals, as assessed by some qualifying factors. This study represents an ample help for nursing professionals who are on the verge of their attempts to formulate health education programs, specifically focused on diabetes and its prevention.
