Como empezó todo…
Lo seguiste cuando estuvo en Londres... a Dallas... a Vancouver... y a Nueva York. Ahora ha llegado el momento de saber la historia de nuestro pequeño héroe y ¡que lo convirtió en el cerdito más famoso del mundo entero!
¿Cómo se convirtió en Sir Pigglesworth? Después de todo, sólo pudo haberse convertido en "Sir" cuando la Reina lo ordenó así. ¿Por qué siempre usa lentes y bufanda? ¿Dónde nació?
Bueno, la historia comenzó hace mucho, mucho tiempo...
En 1802 el Rey envió a Pigonia al tatarabuelo de nuestro cerdito favorito, el Gran Duque Real Spencer J. Hoggbottom.
Pigonia es una isla que está muy lejos, exactamente a 3,000 millas de Londres y a 3,000 millas de Nueva York.
Muchos cerdos inteligentes y trabajadores vivían allí entre las hermosas colinas y prados. Tenían muchas cosechas y eran muy felices.

JoAnn Wagner was born in New York in 1951 and grew up outside New York City. She spent 20 years upstate in Kingston, NY, before moving to Mesquite, TX, a suburb of Dallas, in 1986. She recently retired, having worked for 25 years at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Her hobbies include kickboxing, reading, cruising, yoga, and writing. JoAnn is married, and she and her husband have five wonderful children and six beautiful, rambunctious grandchildren. The "Sir Pigglesworth's Adventure Series" was born when JoAnn's church gave out a flying pig stress ball for the congregation to take around over the summer and post pictures on Facebook. People smiled and laughed everywhere she went and were excited to have their photo taken with Sir Pigglesworth, as she dubbed the pig. The idea blossomed until it became clear that Sir Pigglesworth's adventures needed to be shared with children worldwide. JoAnn does book readings at schools, libraries, and churches. Since kids like to get "stuff," JoAnn gives them custom-made Sir Pigglesworth bookmarks written in English on one side and Spanish on the other.Great, affordable gift for kids!
