Fufu has gained a grandstand media attention and has perhaps reached number one spot as the most searched word or most trending and streaming word in Ghana. Fufu's popularity as the most cherished Ghanaian dish is incontestable and it is sad indeed that the Man of God chose a delicate topic to pontificate on without confining himself to theological, theosophical, and eschatological admonitions. However, students of sociology will argue that social norms and mores of a people include their eating habits, artefacts, customs and beliefs, and other traditional identities which mark them out as unique entities or groupings, in line with what the French Father of Sociology, 3August Compte, might have delineated in his initial exposition of the discipline in the 18 th century.
