Population of senior citizen is the significant emerging demographic phenomenon in the world today. The growth rate of the elderly is more rapid in developing countries than developed countries. Apart from demographic transitions, socio-economic and political changes increased individualism and altered living conditions of elderly. Today, the elderly people demand that society should not only ensure independence and participation but also provide care, fulfillment and dignity. The limited understanding of factors influencing their quality of life is larger responsible for the elderly being denied a dignified existence. The issues of the aged are more prominent in addressing their lacking, dependence, isolation and desertion. The significance of the aged in the society are diminishing in familial, societal and more over in the academic level. There is a tire need of depth empirical research to identify, analyze and substantiate the concerns of the elderly.
