About the author
Roger Blin-Stoyle has written Eureka! after having taught a wide range of students throughout his professional life. His desire to innovate in physics education led him, in 1962, from Oxford to the University of Sussex as its founding Science Dean where he was able to set up course structures and teaching programmes from scratch. He has chaired various education committees in the UK and was President of the Association for Science Education and the Institute of Physics. Currently he enjoys helping to teach physics at this local primary school.
Summary
Presents an introduction to the subject of physics, and how it underpins our understanding of the physical world. With a description of what physics represents from the micro- to the macroscopic, this title provides Newton's Laws, the nature of matter, explaining how the physical world works and how physics may affect our future understanding.
