Hemophilia is an inherited bleeding disorder in which there a deficiency of one the factors necessary coagulation of the blood. -The effect of hemophilia is prolonged bleeding any where from or in the body. Nursing management of hemophiliacs is based on prevention and early controlling of bleeding and the application of fundamental principles of child care. To obtain the desired results, special nursing care for children with Hemophilia should be provided by a knowledgeable, skillful and competent decision maker. In order to ascertain the provision of optimal care, standards of nursing care must be established. The aim of this study was to establish basic standards for nursing management of children with hemophilia and to assess the nurses knowledge and skills before, immediate, and after three months of the standard application.
