Watershed development is a way of developing and managing natural resources to make the most of the elements, particularly to get most out of the land based portion of the water cycle, in a sustainable manner.while both these dimensions -conservation of soil and careful use of water are important.The dimensions of livelihood should not be gives less important. Watershed development program should be maximize present and future well being of the poor people,who depends on these resources.The benefits obtain from the watershed development strengthened the livelihood of the village.
