About the author










Debbie Dailey, Ed.D., is assistant professor of Education at the University of Central Arkansas where she is the Coordinator for the Gifted and Talented Program and director of a summer camp for talented youth, STEMulate Engineering Academy. Debbie enjoys working with teachers and teacher candidates through virtual and face-to-face formats.

Patty Kohler Evans is professor in the Elementary, Literacy, and Special Education Program and Director of the UCA Mashburn Center for Learning at the University of Central Arkansas. Patty spends much of her time providing professional development in methodologies designed to improve the academic and non-cognitive skills of students at risk for failure.
