Additional text
Just as inspirational, informative and entertaining as the previous work from this talented author and illustrator... The poet is never afraid to mix, match and juxtapose scientific or personal imagery, and this gives them great warmth and wit and the power to stimulate the reader to think, look, feel and, yes, laugh!
The illustrations enhance the poems and are full of detailed references in their own right. They are often fully integrated into the poems on the page, which enriches the anthology and enhances the poetic rhythms and scientific concepts. The book will be particularly useful in schools, both in science lessons and in the literacy hour.
This is a truly wonderful anthology, stimulating and thought-provoking, readers will return again and again to these enriching poems.
