Esta pesquisa busca investigar a possibilidade de (re)conectar uma rede que existiu em torno da tipografia e dos seus impressos gerados em Minas Gerais. Discutimos a forma como o design pode contribuir para apresentar e expandir uma rede de pessoas e instituições com o uso de tecnologias digitais colaborativas e sociais como um novo suporte para disseminação e sistematização de informações no processo de resgate e construção de memórias coletivas. Para tanto, a pesquisa teve como objeto de estudo a história da tipografia nas cidades de Mariana e Ouro Preto/MG, entendida como rede que marcou a transformação da sociedade mineira nos séculos XVIII e XIX, assim como a análise de experiências atuais de lugares e instituições que mantêm a tipografia viva no Estado. Com a proposição de uma metodologia aliada ao uso das tecnologias da informação, pretende-se ampliar as potências dessas conexões, extrapolando as dimensões físicas e territoriais de Minas Gerais, a partir do compartilhamento de memórias e saberes.

Summary
