On pourra constater, en les rapprochant, que la chronique abyssine de ma collection dill'ère sur certains points, non seulement des récits qui ont été publiés en Europe sur le souverain éthiopien, mais même de la chronique de Berlin. Les différences ne portent avec celle-ci que sur de menus détails elles sont essentielles, quand on compare les deux chroniques, avec les récits des Européens. Je crois donc, en publiant mon manus crit, apporter une contribution intéressante à l'histoire de l'éthiopie contemporaine.
